I love to sail and the older style boats. When I went to college I lived in Gloucester Massachusetts. I fell in love with the ocean. I later met friends who grew up messing around on boats. I met a 80 yr old gentlemen who worked on boats most of his life. His family did not want him out on the Atlantic ocean alone, yet he had just bought himself his dream boat. The “Mistral” it was a racing sloop used as a commuter boat from Holland to England in the 60's. She was small 16' with a full keel. I wanted to learn how to sail and signed up as his crew.
