RI The Ocean State 2 X Large T Shirt
This is a pen and ink drawing of a gaffed rigged sailboat. When I first moved to Rhode Island and I was living aboard Pete's beautiful cabin cruiser “Koala” The drawing was a hit and I used it for my logo and later produced t shirts and note cards from this design. At that time the states logo was “Rhode Island The Ocean State”. Learning about my new home, I believe they said there was 2,000 square feet of beach for each person living in the State of RI. There was an average of 3-4 feet of snow per winter. The tides were 3-4 feet (verses 10 feet) in Gloucester Ma, I found the people friendly and that they would go out of their way to help a stranger if needed. I love wearing my t-shirts especially the chickadees and the trumpet vines. I have received compliments on both. The schooner I have given to friends and family as a remembrance of Bristol. The crazy socks always get a comment and they are very comfortable since they are all cotton. I especially like some of the notepaper and cards because they are unusual. The apple tree card is one of my favorites. I love the whimsical Christmas cards. Wait till you see Santa’s water-skiing reindeer and some with a nautical theme. The garden and flower photos are truly beautiful.
