Lesser Kestrel and Ficus Tree T shirts

Product Details

I wanted a bird that would in nature rest in a Ficus tree. I have a Ficus tree in my house. While I was drawing the braided trunk, I kept getting lost and finally had to photograph it to get the braided trunk correct. I thought the American kestrel was actually a prettier bird but luckily it is not endangered, so I chose the Lesser kestrel native to Europe. It is a small bird of prey 11-13 inches in length with a 25-28” wing span. This species breeds from the Mediterranean across Afghanistan and Central Asia, to China and Mongolia. It is a summer migrant, wintering in Africa and Pakistan and sometimes even to India and Iraq. It's numbers are declining in its European range. Wikipedia was used as a reference and I used a direct quote of the Lesser Kestrel's migration.

I love wearing my t-shirts especially the chickadees and the trumpet vines. I have received compliments on both. The schooner I have given to friends and family as a remembrance of Bristol. The crazy socks always get a comment and they are very comfortable since they are all cotton. I especially like some of the notepaper and cards because they are unusual. The apple tree card is one of my favorites. I love the whimsical Christmas cards. Wait till you see Santa’s water-skiing reindeer and some with a nautical theme. The garden and flower photos are truly beautiful.
