Chickadee 3 X Large T Shirt
I was in Maine running the shop with my mom for the holiday season when I created this drawing of chickadees. It took about one week starting out with hard pencils and finishing with darker soft lead to create the soft graduating quality. The tree was outside of the window.
This is one of my first designs that I started producing as cards and t shirts. The original print run was silk screened and then hand painted. They sold and I was low in stock. I then created a 3 color separation and worked with a printer to create dozens more crew neck & dress T shirts. Sorry no long sleeved and I think the dresses are gone. I get compliments when I wear mine. A bird lovers favorite..
I love wearing my t-shirts especially the chickadees and the trumpet vines. I have received compliments on both. The schooner I have given to friends and family as a remembrance of Bristol. The crazy socks always get a comment and they are very comfortable since they are all cotton. I especially like some of the notepaper and cards because they are unusual. The apple tree card is one of my favorites. I love the whimsical Christmas cards. Wait till you see Santa’s water-skiing reindeer and some with a nautical theme. The garden and flower photos are truly beautiful.
